I am being kicked out of Novice (N-FSP) after this season and am wondering what class to run in. My car has a modified stock intake, cat-back, Eibach springs and I want to continue running the stock 17 inch wheels. I have been told that I am running STS times on street tires and should move into that class and others have recommended FSP since thats what I ran as a novice. I also plan to run with R-compounds in the future. Thanks....

Are you chasing points in your Region?  How competitive are STS and FSP in your Region?  When in the future are you planning on running R Comps?  Does your Region offer an indexed Street Tire class?

If you can be competitive in STS, that is a good option until you get the R comps.

If your are going with the R comps, then you will have to go to FSP.  I wish our next autocross was in January.
