My wifes Saab 9000 needed new e-brake cables as her e-brake just wouldn't engage, even after trying all the adjustments. I just got done after spending the day replacing one of them (the other requires removal of the gas tank, that'll be this spring) and the bastard still wont engage! The handle travel is short, the e-brake lever on the caliper works and I followed the adjustment procedure to the T and nada....

"Born from Jets" huh...I'd hate to work on a SAAB jet then, I had to tear out her interior to change an e-brake cable for gods sake!

you'd hate to work on any jet! [;)]

I'm painfully aware of the location of our parking brake cable because they put it straight through one of my wire bundles I'm trying to route! [/work rant]
