For those familiar with the BFG g-Force T/A KDW tires (with new tread pattern), I own a 2007 Honda Civic Si (sedan) and will be AutoX racing for the first time this year. I have Momo Corse S-Five rims (17x7). I just ordered a set of the KDWs (225/45R-17), and they should be here with plenty of time between now and my first race day. On April 10th I am attending a local autox training session with the next day being a points racing day. My question... looking for opinions of whether I purchased a good tire for Autocross racing ? I have done a lot of research online so I feel good about the choice, however I only just today stumbled onto this site and thought it would be worth posting the question.

The only thing I need to do once I get the tires is road force balance them and also get  a 4 wheel alignment. I haven't done much suspension wise to the car, only some lower front/rear tie bars and an H-brace (which most likely do little).

Positive and negative opinions are welcome.

They won't be competitive against the top of the line Bridgestones, Yokohamas or Toyos, but they are good tires for a new autocrosser.
