[url=http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/2007_hr/1967executive.html]These[/url] were just made public.  Absolutely fascinated to sift through.  There is alot of info there but its very interesting to read, especially since I wasn't alive then.  Obviously Vietnam is the main topic, but also the drafts of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the run up to and results of the Six Day War, how to deal with China, etc.  Alot of disturbingly familiar topics and discussions. [;)]  Obviously its fun to compare the opinions expressed with knowing what happens, but I do find it a bit surprising that the Senators have to ask the Sec. of State if what they're reading in the newspapers is accurate!
