We have a few seats that are still open for the June 12th autocross in the 2004 (12), the car that took 4th place overall at competition. If you would like to drive please contact me ASAP. Only requirements are to be an experienced autocrosser (with valid SCCA membership) and to make a minimum donation of $50 to the team.
Thank you,

I would highly recommend this!
I drove the '97 car a few years ago, and it was an absolute blast. Plus, the donation is tax deductible

I concur.
I got to drive their 2003 car last year when they did this and it was worth every penny. I'd be signed up again by now if I wasn't in the middle of a heated class championship battle :starwars:
Any chance you UMR guys would be willing to offer up some more codrives at the October 23rd non class points event at the end of the year? You'd certainly have 1 guaranteed codriver :honk:
ps. Matt, James, Tom, etc... you guys wouldn't mind me running DSP this weekend in an FSAE car wouldja? :D

Depending on the number or cars and team members that drive we will be offering this for most of the events. By the October 23rd we should be able to bring out three of the cars, I'm pretty sure we will have some codrive seats for that one. Even though you're in a points battle, you can enter the FSAE car in the FUN class.

BTW, I am not postwhoring, just bumping an important thread ;)

We're going to do this again for the 10th if anyone is interested. It won't be in the 2004 #12 car though. It'll be the 2002 #24 car, which is currently for sale. If you are interested in driving let me know.
On another note, we're going to take the 12 car to the Tuesday night drag races at Gateway if anyone wants to come see how fast our car can do a 1/4 mile.

So that I can drive it!
Would have been taking 4 (2005 car) if I hadn't messed up the engine at the BTCC event. We may do that later this summer still.
